Mimetic captures the process of phototropism. Tropisms are mechanisms by which plants/trees adapt to environmental changes: light, gravity, water, or touch. They grow towards positive stimuli and away from negative ones. This chair explores these growth patterns as the backrest, seat, and legs sprout outwards from one meeting point, towards the body.
